Croatia : Zadar : 2 1/2 Days
Hi ,
We , 2 women in mid twenties are planning a trip to Croatia : Zadar for 13 june to 16 june .
We will reach at night on 13 .. and would have 2 1/2 days in hand .
We are planning to have one day excursion for Plitvice national park .
We are not sure about how to plan for other things . Can someone help :
1 would like to book a hotel near beach or kind of on beach
2 dubrovinik is possible to go from zadar in one day ( seems far to me )
3 any ideas for near by places are welcome ..
4 Island hoping is good ?
thank you

What made you pick Zadar? Will you have a car or are you using public transportation?
In either case Dubrovnik is too far. Plitvice can be reached by bus but it would be difficult to do as a daytrip. It would be possible with a car, but that's 4 hours or so of driving to and fro.
Look into Krka National Park. It's closer, near Sibenik. And my Croatian landlord said he liked Krka as much as Plitvice.
Plenty of opportunities for island-hopping by ferry from Zadar. You should probably concentrate on that rather than far-flung excursions.

Hi ,
thank you for your reply .
Zadar : bcoz our airlines are giving good rate to zadar only
And the day trip org. are giving pickup and drop from hotel to Plitvice . it is 2 hour drive .
Also Dubrivnik is out of question now so would check for nearby islands only .
