Costa Brava vs Prague?
We have 6 days to spare after a wedding in Amsterdam and were wanting to go somewhere. We've heard good about both destinations and was wondering what the Fodorites would recommend? Thanks all

These 2 destinations are very different from each other. Before anyone can give you good advice, we need to know what are your interests, what are your likes and dislikes. Prague is a city while Costa Brava is the coast north of Barcelona. You would need a car for Costa Brava.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry I sound a bit vague but I'm actually doing a favour for a friend of mine who asked me to find out information for her daughter and boyfriend. I myself have not been to either of these places YET, but just thought I would find out some info. I am thinking that they will probably enjoy Costa Brava more.

That's like asking should you go to San Francisco or the Florida Keys. Daughter and boyfriend, if old enough to travel to Europe, should get out the maps and guidebooks and start figuring out what THEY want to do.

Well do they want a beach or a city? Just a lot of relaxing - or a lot of sightseeing, history, culture, music - and yes, good nightlife?
Also - what time of year are they going? Will it be beach weather in Costa Brava?
