you may want to do a search on this forum for "concerts in Paris" because there are many websites suggested. Also go to Yahoo or Google search and type in the same info.
I am familiar with wonderful concerts at Ste. Chappelle in paris. One of the highlights of my trip.

There are organ recitals at Notre Dame, St Sulpice, and many other churches have evening classical music concerts (St Chapelle and St Julien le Pauvre are good for these). Also check Pariscope magazine when you ge to Paris.

Do you just mean a large church? There is only one cathedral in a diocese usually, and in Paris that is Notre Dame. I think Marseille has two, an old and new one, but only one is officially used as the cathedral.
They do have a musical concert calendar on their website for Notre Dame -- I think it's only in French, but you can probably make it out

I agree the best thing may be just to look at the schedules when you get there, e.g., in Pariscope or some entertainment guide. I found the Diocese of Marseille's website, but it has no concert section.

In most cities, the best thing for church concerts is usually just to go by the church and look at flyers or announcements on upcoming concerts.
