Can I buy a coffee pot in Italy?
I truly enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning, but can't stand expresso coffee.and caffe Americano is just watered down expresso.

Is it possible to purchase an inexpensive electric coffee pot and "regular ground coffee"in Italy?

Thanks John
My husband and I never go to Italy without a pound or two of coffee ground exactly to our tastes. We carry two plstic Melitta-type one-cup plastic filter cones and the paper filters to go with them. And we always carry large insulated travel mugs. Just dump a large spoonful of coffee into the filter, put it on top of the mug and pour boiling water over it. Perfect coffee every time. Put the lid on the mug and find a nice spot overlooking the countryside or a piazza. These few supplies take up little space and go into our suitcase right after the passports.

Dave "the dumb guy" (as seen on Letterman's Late Show) went into a caffeteria late one Roman afternoon and ordered a cappuccino.

Really? answered the signor - - we Romans never drink cappuccino after the morning hours - - only espresso.

Okay, well that will be fine, said Dave - - give me an expresso - - I'm in a hurry anyway.
