Bodo ferry

I am looking at the longer ferry from Bodo to Moskenes, am I reading the schedule right that there is only two trips one at 4:30am, the other at 4:30pm?

Is there a shorter one? What dates - there is a different timetable for summer 13.06 to 17.08 which is what you seem to be looking at with one departure 04:30 Monday to Saturday direct Bodø-Moskenes and one departure 16:30 Monday to Friday and Sunday via Røst and Værøy.

If you Google the timetable for Bodø – Moskenes, you find:
http://ruteinfo.thn.no/en/default.aspx?rnr=86
1st week in August (6/13/2014-8/17/2014) gives you 5-6 direct ferries every day.

When you include Røst and Værøy in your search, you find:
http://ruteinfo.thn.no/en/default.aspx?rnr=82

If you want to travel Bodø – Moskenes and include Røst and Værøy, then the 4:30 pm departure will give you the right sequence:
Bodø – Røst – Værøy - Moskenes (- Bodø)
This runs every day except Saturdays, and there is no Røst on Tuesdays.

(The 4:30 am will give you Bodø – Moskenes – Værøy – Røst – Bodø, and then you must add another Bodø – Moskenes .)

Oh I see so it takes you back to Bodo, I was thinking the islands were in between Bodo And Moskenes. So then I just need to take the direct Bodo to Moskenes. I was thinking to do the scenic route.

OK, now I see what you mean by the longer ferry. It does a circular route. The islands are in-between Bodø and Moskenes if you take the 16:30 the route is Bodø - Røst - Væroy - Moskenes and then the ferry goes directly back to Bodø (not Saturday).
The 04:30 is direct Bodø - Moskenes then departing Moskenes at 08:15 back via Værøy and Røst to Bodø (not Sunday) - don't know why they have the confusing line to/from Moskenes since it's never relevant.
And in summer you have the option of several direct ferries per day - all as indicated by JJZZ earlier.

So the longer route does arrive pretty late though, so I think I will stick to the direct route. Thanks all.
