Best boutique hotel in London for honeymoon

Any recommendations? My son and his girlfriend ( bride to be) will be finishing up their honeymoon with a three night stay in London. Thanks very much!

Without a budget there is no way to make a useful recommendation.

And what do you mean by 'Boutique'? Do you just want small?

They want somewhere charming, not stuffy, centrally located. They will be going to the theatre all three nights. Thanks.

Any of the Firmdale group would be very good.

https://www.firmdalehotels.com

Of the list have them especially check out the Ham Yard and Covent Garden properties. Great locations and convenient to many theatres. But really -- any of the eight would be good.

i have stayed at all of the Firmdale hotels in London. My two favorites are The Ham Yard and Charlotte Street. Stunning decor in all of them. Cannot recommend enough.

Love all the Firmdale hotels. I have a very soft spot for the Knightsbridge Hotel.

My next visit (probably in mid Oct.) hoping to stay at the Covent Garden. Can't book until lat August so my fingers are crossed there will be availability -- Ham Yard is usually above my pay grade.

If Covent Garden isn't available I'll probably try for Royal Horseguards (non-Firmdale but a favorite)

The Goring. My sister #2 always
stay here. She also stays at L'Abbaye in Paris, La Sirenuse in Positano, Adan in Venice.

My fav London hotel is the Connaught but many would not like the "oldy-wordly" atmosphere.

My Aunt Judith likes Browns.

Hi, Thin!

I love Browns, too. And Claridges. But I love "old-worldy" hotels, too!

Sigh... that should have been " oldy-worldy" hotels. Still recovering from getting stuck in a revolving door with Colin Firth at Claridges many years ago. What a great hotel!

Thanks, Pepper! These young kids want to stay at The Ham Yard, which Colin Firth says is quite trendy. ( Just kidding about the CF part!).

Have your son request a room on the fourth floor at The Ham Yard as the terrace is on that floor. I will be staying there again in September. They will love it..
