If your hotel is the Hampton by Hilton on Kantstr. you will find this around the corner at Savignyplatz:
http://www.dicke-wirtin.de
It had become quite popular so you should make reservations.

You can save a lot of €€€ if you do NOT take the City Circle tour but take the public bus no. 100 instead. It is free if you buy a day pass for all public transport in Berlin @ € 6.90 per person, it is hop on/hop off and it follows a very scenic route which connects the major attractions of Berlin.

Cowboy's recommendation is good. Something different would be eating in the food halls of the KaDeWe - Berlin's leading department store. The food halls offer an amazing array of all kinds of food - it is like a museum of food.

Though I've been on the #100 when it was so packed you can't get a seat, can't get upstairs, can't move, and can barely see out a window. It's best when you hop on right at Zoo - - other times the bus itself can be a 'zoo'.

The food halls at KaDeWe are indeed a nice eating option.
The only problem for dinner is that they close with the department store, i.e. usually at 8 pm.

To beat the crowds waiting for the #100 or #200 bus at Zoo to secure the front window seats on the upper deck, you can catch both lines one stop before Zoo, at Hertzallee.
As you can see on this map in the upper left corner:
http://www.bvg.de/?section=downloads&download=1102
It's just a few steps from Zoo station.
And all buses that exit the depot make their first stop there before they stop at the main bus stop in front of Zoo station.

Just that I understand you correctly: With German style fun night dining you mean German food? Or something where Berliners would usually go for dining? Aside from the typical street food like currywurst, Germans typically favor their local cuisine(s) to a much lesser degree than Italian, Thai, Indian, Turkish, Middle East, Chinese eateries and restaurants. So the "local places" are not necessarily the places where the locals hang out.
And often we would just go to certain neighborhoods that have a wide range of restaurants or eateries and decide on the spot where to pop in. There is, of course, the usual dozen of hip places which require reservations (or simply small ones like Dicke Wirtin) - but as there are so many choices, it's rather uncommon from a general perspective.
So a typical "recommondation" would rather be "go to X street or Y square" than "make reservations 3 weeks in advance at Z's".

One of these foody neighborhoods is actually where your hotel is. Savignyplatz and its side streets (where Dicke Wirtin is) is lined with restaurants and pubs. Especially on a warm summer night it's a good place to eat outside on the terraces.

Another nearby "food corridor" is stretching South from Nollendorfplatz via Winterfeldplatz along Goltzstr.

Or in Kreuzberg along Bergmannstr. (near subway stop Mehringdamm). Or the whole Eastern part of Kreuzberg along Skalitzer Str. between subway stops Kottbusser Tor and Schlesisches Tor, incl. the side streets.

Well, my first guess would not have been hiphop.. but what would you consider German lively music?
Not trying to pull your leg -- I seriously have no clue. I just hope that you don't mean oompah..
