Belvedere Hotel in Portovenere

For those of you who are interested in the Belvedere Hotel, I found the tel & fax numbers at the web site http://www.venere.it/home/italy.html The Tel no. is 011 39 187 900608 and fax no. is 011 39 187 901469. I found it at the web site http://www.venere.it/home/italy.html However, both numbers were busy when I called. Hope this helps.

Although Belvedere Hotel and Paradiso Hotel are next to each other, which is the nicer hotel? If anyone has stayed at these hotels, please let me know the pros and cons of each. Thanks!

I checked out the website for the Belvedere and it said that is located in San Remo, not Portovenere. Is there another Hotel Belvedere?

Yes, Abbie, there is another hotel
called Belvedere located in Portovenere. To locate this, do the
following: After you get to the web site,
http://www.venere.it/home/italy.html, click "search" at the blue
section on top. You will then get a screen that says "Search your
hotel in Italy". Enter "Portovenere" in the blank box next to city.
(You don't need to enter or change anything else on this screen.)
Then you will get a screen that says "search result" and click
"Portovenere" as listed. On the next screen, on the left side column,
you will see "Belvedere" listed as the 3rd hotel under "Portovenere".
Click "Belvedere" and you will get the tel/fax/price info of the
hotel. Hope this helps you.

Does anybody know if the Belvedere or Paradiso have elevators? I heard from someone that it was very difficult to bring up their luggage by stairs, when the hotels didn't have elevators/lifts, in Italy. Grazie!
