Like me, if you were thinking that this accommodation is in Vik, it is not - it is on the opposite end of the island near Akureyri. I thought I should mention this since I saw another post of yours in which you mention Vik as part of your itinerary (but not Akureyri).

I just googled it on the map out of curiosity just as I would if I were to book a hotel. I visited Vik ~ 2 years ago, and in general you have to be careful when picking your accommodation in Iceland. Some roads are dirt roads, and what looks like a short distance on the map may require a 4wd + all kinds of additional insurance, not to mention the added time it takes to navigate such a road. And this is all OK, as long as you know and are prepared for it.

I assume you're going in summer?

We were just in Dalvik the other day in our tiny low clearance rental car. The road is fully paved, you should have no issues.

There are some long tunnels in the area, paved and easy to navigate. We really liked Dalvick.

Dalvik is a whale watching center - we were just passing through, a day trip of exploring.

FYI - just googled the name of your accommodation and came up with lots of reviews. You might also check over on TA - their Iceland forum is much busier than this one.

Have a great trip (and be prepared for some shocking prices!)
