Advice on driving (Lisbon-Porto-Lagos) and map recommendations sought ...
12 days and counting until we leave for Portugal!
We are going Lisbon-Sintra-Porto-Lagos-Lisbon, with planned stops in Obidos and Evora along the way. Rooms are booked, restaurants are researched, and the car is rented.
Here's the question, though ... maps.
Everything I read about driving in Portugal makes it sound like a big, impossible to navigate nightmare. And to make things more fun, my job interfered with my plan to learn some basic Portugese, so we're limited to English and French.
What should we expect? Any tips? And which maps should we buy?

Driving in Portugal isn't that terrible - only the drivers are.
We were in Portugal for 12 days a couple of months ago. We used a standard Michelin map and had no serious problems.
