Hi Fodorites.

I don't mean to be pushy, but I would really really appreciate a response/critique here, or at least a reason why no one is has responded. I posted 3 messages last week. When I look down the list, it looks like I am the only person noone has responded to. I guess I am looking if anything critical to see was left out.
My first draft is:
Halkadiki to Lemnos to Nexos to Athens

Halkidiki (2 days)
Lemnos (1 full day)
Naxos – iria beach art hotel (3 days
Santorini (1 day)
Get to Athens – 1 night
morning – picked up for 2 day tour meteora monasteries
Come back at night
Then Athens 2 nights
Gives 1 full day in Athens for Acropolis and shopping
Athens – staying at the hotel Plaka

Personally, I find you itinerary a bit rushed - just personal preferance. I would try to arrange things so you don't have that 1 night in Athens....can you fly back early enough that this isn't necessary and spend another night in Santorini? I am not a fan of one night stops myself. With time this short, I would cut the tour to meteora and spread out those 2 days (and that excess Athens day) to you other destinations.

Meteora is nice, but far away - with such short time, if I wanted to see a bit of mainland, I would head south to Nafplio. Even Delphi would in my opinion make a better mainland day trip.

Just my two cents.

Have fun....how many posts you get will depend on how many people are around at any given time who have been to the destinations you are purposing. I have travelled in Greece extensively and have still never been to Lemnos or Halkidiki for example.

yes it's a bit of a hike but we did an overnight tour and it was splendid

a good contrast to athens and the islands

Thank-you so much all. Naxos travels, I will check the two places you mentioned. Can someone tell me if Mediora is closer to Halkadiki? Maybe I can take an excursion from there --- later fly to Athens and do Delphi?
