6 days in Denmark or/& Norway mid Decemberadvise
Hi. Hoping for some advise. I have 6 days free to spend in Denmark, Norway or both mid December. Love landscape photography, so thinking of hiring a car and heading out into the countryside on day trips for a few days. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not a bad idea if you want photos of bleak winter landscapes. We found much of Norway countryside to be boring - scrub oak or just ground cover - except for the fjords and mountain areas (but we are used to NY state which is mostly gorgeous).
Are you determined to do just countryside or also city scenes? Both Oslo and Copenhagen are charming cities.

Better fly into Bergen and get to the fjords, which can be done by public transport from Bergen. Bergen is very nice as a city with good outdoor spaces, and you'll have good access to the Fjords.
If you want exciting landscapes, don't go to Danmark.

Norway is beautiful in winter, totally agree about Bergen. In Gleilo you may book a husky-tour - photos with huskies and loads of positivity! Railroad Bergensbanen between Oslo and Bergen is also very picturesque.

In mid-December there will be many Christmas markets - in Oslo, Gingerbread town in Bergen, ice-climbing festival - not perfectly "landscape" but also very picturesque for photos. And nortnern lights in Tromso!

Pick the Hurtigruten ferry up in either Bergen or Trondheim and take it through the The Lofoten Islands which in winter are stunning. If you carry on to Tromso you will have an excellent chance of seeing the Aurora. Fly back from Tromso.
The photographic opportunities are endless.
