Website showing cabins booked

Several years ago I had a website that showed what cabins were booked on a particular cruise ship. I can't recall it now. Does anyone know where to find this info?

I think Travelocity used to have this feature--probably still does.

Expedia has it. The cabins that are still available have a blinking dot.

maryanne, you have to go through the exercise of pretending to book the trip --- only after you have chosen a date and filled out the details they ask for, do you get to the screen that tells you what is available. if you have done that and are not seeing blinking dots, then I'd be pretty sure there are no cabins available. The Princess website will definitely give you a choice of cabins also once you have gone through the steps of pretending to book a cruise.

If there are no lights blinking might it mean that the partcular site (Travelocity, Expedia, etc.) has no more cabins to offer, not necessarily that the ship is sold out?

If there are no blinking lights try bringing up your cruise on the company 's website to check availability.

I'd be wary of the reliability of such a web site.
We were trying to get a cabin with a balcony on a Celebrity cruise to the Galapagos Islands. They sell out very quickly. Celebrity's own web site showed none were available for several departure dates we would have taken, but we called a travel agent who got us one.

Thanks for the info. I did check out Expedia and checked my imaginary trip. It is hard for me to believe so many cabins are booked 3 months from the time I am going. Perhaps a number of cabins are limited for a certain Co. I will definitely check with the co. I plan to use probably Vacations to Go.
You may have already seen I want to book a New England cruise in Sept. 7th or 14.
I am leaning toward Caribbean Princess out of Brooklyn for 7 nights. I wanted an Ocean view room, but it seems there are the most with an obstructed view.
Any other suggestions appreciated.

Maryanne, I'm not surprised there are so few cabins available. The reason is that there are very few New England cruises offered each year and it's a pretty popular route. We did that cruise on Carnival a few years ago, stopping at Boston, Portland, ME, Sydney and Halifax, NS. I'm a big fan of Princess but we wanted to give Carnival a try. The cruise was a lot of fun - but we decided to stick with Princess.

I got my cruise booked on Caribbean Princess for Sept. 7-14. with Vacations to Go. I have used them before and they are always very helpful.
The agent found me a deal on a mini-suite with a balcony which I am sure we will like.
I think you do need a person to help you rather than depending completely on the internet listings.
Thanks for helping me do my research which I always do before any trip.

Just because the website is only showing certain cabins available doesn't mean that the rest of them are booked. Many of the large cruise agencies book blocks of cabins and they may not be available to others. Also the cruise line themselves reserve certain cabins for their own bookings. We have booked many cruises with the agency we use (one of the larger cruise specialists) and our agent gets the cruise line on a three way conversation and we were able to book cabins that did not show as available. So, if you have a preference let your agent know and they can always ask.

No website exists that shows which staterooms are already booked on any cruise that you may be interested in. As others have pointed out, you can use other websites to get a (partial) list of some staterooms that may be available, but such lists are not exhaustive.
