Do you tip for Excursions?

I have gone on excursions and seen people tip the tour guides. I figure that I already paid a high amount for the excursion and I do not tip.

Am I in the minority?

Hi Jimbo-
We have always tipped our tour guides. Sometimes if it's just an average excursion, we'll only tip a dollar or two per person. If it's a truly exceptional tour & our guide went above & beyond...we've been known to tip $5 per person.
Amy
Yes, Jimbo, we are a minority. Read any tour description - it's highlighted everywhere the tips are NOT included. Not in a hotel room price, not in a "free" airport shuttle... Nothing is free in USA, and now it's no joke!

I would tip at least one dollar to the driver and one/two to the guide.

Always tip a buck or two.
