Can guests board ship?

On the Celebrity line for spring break, one of our ports of call is St. Thomas; our neighbors will be vacationing there when we stop. Will be allowed to bring them aboard?

Even before 9/11 guests have not been allowed on ships to visit and there is no question that in many cases photo id's will be necessary to re-board and security will be very, very tight.

You probably will need to make arrangements ahead of time. I would contact your travel agent or whomever you booked with and find out what needs to happen for your friends to come on board.

Tango..I have four..a mouthy African Grey, a Blue Fronted Amazon, a Senegal and a psycho Cockatiel. Except for Larry the Cockatiel they have all just had a treat of chicken wing bones.. and at 5:00 p.m. the Amazon is going to screech like crazy for a treat...a sweet cookie. Let's not even discuss this Grey, Mellie...she asks for pizza, cheese, cookies and a showa..among other things.. She has turned out to be the boss of the house...she is also a music critic.. if she hears something she likes she say "that's good music".. I could go on and on.. yes. my name ParrotMom should be ParrotSlave.

even your Travel agent will NOT be able to get people on unless they are cuising on the ship----

we tried to do that in Bermuda on a cruise, way before 9/11, and they would not allow guests....

Things have really changed---

Andy is correct. A TA will not be able to help get guests aboard the ship. Just pick a place in St. Thomas to meet your neighbors.
