Best things to do on St. Lucia & St. Kitts?

I am going on the Dawn Princess Valentines Day week and going to two islands I never got to really explore on my last cruise. What's the best beaches to hit on those islands?

We rarely take the ship's excursions, but on St. Lucia we took the seven hour land/sea excursion. It was GREAT. Saw most of the island and visited famous landmarks. Then had lunch (included). Then a catamaran took us back to the ship. The island from the water was also beautiful. There was partying going on during the catamaran ride. It was a great day.

Hi: I second the idea of cruising to the Pitons, it was the most expensive and diffently best shore excursion we have been on. It combines a ride up the shore , Diamond falls and mineral spring, soufriere volcano, Caribbean lunch, swimming, and some dancing ect on the boat. The pitons are beautiful and so is Marigot Bay were the original Dr Doolittle movie was shot. It is a don't miss excursion whether you do the land and sea or straight cruise up the coast and back. Another option is to get a taxi for the day and they will take you to all those places. We had our driver take us to Anse Chasenet where we snorkeled pretty much by ourselves and then to the volcano, falls, etc.

The taxi is a nice option, but then you don't get to see the magnificent Pitons from the water.

I'm going on the Dawn Princess in Dec. Would love to hear how your trip goes and what excursions you tried.
