What foods can be taken to Providenciales
I will be traveling to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos in a couple of weeks. Can food that has been cooked and frozen be taken to the Islands?

Yes, you can take a "reasonable amount" of frozen and/or pre-cooked foods for your own consumption's long as you declare the items to the customs officials upon arrival.
Regardless of your destination, if you are bringing the "frozen foods" in your carry-on then you should know, in most cases, the TSA (or local equivalent if coming from a non-US country) will not allow you bring items that are liquids or gels when in their "natural unfrozen state (i.e. frozen soup, sauces, etc. will usually not be allowed past the TSA check point).

sorry no precooked foods!!
Meats and fish must be frozen and in original package
Currently it's not lobster season, so you can't bring in lobster (can't buy it anywhere either) until lobster season in August
Non perishables must be in original package frozen
Supermarkets are extremely well stocked, and include brands from US, Canada, and England. Also big supplies of gluten free, grass feed, well stocked for special diets and restrictions
Although costs are about twice as the States, you can also save by prepared foods at IGA supermarket including ribs, rotissorrie chicken, salad bars, you can also go to dinner some places and eat before 6 (lunch menu)
Wednesday night ribs $14 at tiki hut
Thursday night Fish Fry has many stall vendors for food most $10-12
