Does Anyone know anything about the Shady Lane Hotel? How much it costs, etc.

Prices will depend on dates of travel and also city of departure. Sit down with a good travel agent to get rates.
Shady Lane in Barbados was still under construction last we were on island, but I've read it's in full operation now. Luxurious, classy & oh so expensive. You probably won't find too many deals. Try calling the hotel direct. BTW, it's not on the beach.

When I entered the reply, I clicked on Barbados. I assumed it would read on the title. It is the Shady Lane Hotel, in Barbados. My boyfriend is thinking of going to Barbados with his family. I'm not sure he will want to stay at an expensive place. His family is renting a condo near the hotel.
Thanks for the info..teri
Teri, that was likely a boo boo too. I don't think there's a Shady Lane on Barbados. Sandy Lane is very expensive. Do you know where the condo is located? Barbados is a fairly large island & recommendation should probably depend on where his family is staying as well as price.
If it's indeed the Sandy Lane, then Holetown would be a good choice. Sunswept or Inn on the Beach would be ok choices if that's the case. Regent St. James, nicer & in the same range. BUT, maybe there is a Shady Lane? Which side are they staying on?

Sandy Lane is on the beach, a very beautiful one. All of the rooms have a view of it. The golf course and its luxury homes, many of which are rentals, is across the street. All of the homes have beach rights and, at least before the renovation, a cabana/storage area on the beach.
