Sandals St. Lucia the Cons?

I am strongly considering Sandals St. Lucia (La Toc) for a Feb-98 Honeymoon. I am looking for ANY negatives. I have heard that the resort is extremely crowded. Your help is appreciated.

I just returned from Sandals, St. Lucia and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was great, the beach beautiful, the food was delicious and the resort itself was very, very nice. It is off season right now so it wasn't crowded at all. This was my first visit to a Sandals resort and I would definately return!

I have to agree with the other two responses. I have been to both Sandals St. Lucia and Sandals Negril, and I think St. Lucia was much nicer than Negril. The only con I can think of is that there were no palm trees on the beach! The food was excellent, the staff very attentive. As for being crowded, I think if the entire resort was booked, it still wouldn't seem crowded because it's very large (over 200 acres?). I know several people who have gone to St. Lucia and they loved it! You won't be disappointed!

We were there last Feb. Had a great time. The only drawback was that the beach was eroded because of the high waves while we were there. We were told that this was uncommon. Everything else was great. Food, pools, drink, etc.. Good luck.
