Nightlife at the Atlantis?

We were planning on going to the Atlantis, but have concerns since reading some reviews. Our daughters are 19 and 22 and love the night life. Is there anything to do at the Atlantis other than the casino?

There is a nightclub off the side of the casino. I'm not sure what the drinking age is in the Bahamas - 19 or 21. I was there on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded.

I went with a group of my sorority sisters who were in the 19-22 range. We had a great time. We went in July and the nightlife at Atlantis was awesome. They have a dance floor and DJ right by the casino area. It's a small dance floor, but it was packed and really a lot of fun. We also took cabs to some of the nightclubs in the area...The Waterloo and some other place, but didn't have as much fun as we did at the Atlantis.

Another safe night spot off of Atlantis, besides Waterloo (go after 11:30pm for crowds) which is a safe good local place mentioned by summer33ny, would be Senor Frogs downtown (a lot of young american cruise ship crowd visit here). The crowd starts earlier at Senor Frogs--you could probably go at 10:00. Definitely check if there are cruise ships in the day before going--it will determine the crowd level (great or nonexistant).

Drinking age is 18 but not checked. Leave IDs and credit cards at the hotel; cash talks and no need to lose the plastic on the dance floor.
