Jellyfish in Aruba

Our hotel had a sign warning that at certain times of the year, small jellyfish are along the shore line and may cause allergic reactions. But it didn't say what the "certain times of the year" were. Not in October when we were there, but I should have asked when. I want to avoid that time! Or is it variable?

Hi Sue:

Generally speaking they are most prominent at the same time as turtles are most prominent ( the turtles feed on them) so just keep a sharp eye out for turtles. In reality there is no real season for jellyfish as they may be present at anytime.
