Honeymoon in June St.Martin/Aguilla?
We're currently planning our honeymoon for the end of June and we were originally thinking St.Martin, but I love the white sandy beaches of Turks & Caicos and I wasn't sure if St.Martin would give me that. We were thinking of staying at Le Petit. I guess we could travel to the other beaches but I'm not sure if they're as nice as T&C.
But although we're not looking for a lot of nightlife we like the fact that we could go to a casino one night and do the zip line one day. Plus we LOVE going to amazing restaurants. Then we thought of Anguilla (Frangipani). They seem to have the beaches I love although not as much to do as St. Martin.
Should we divide up the 9 nights we have? How would you suggest we divide them? More time in St.Martin or Anguilla. We would probably go to St. Martin firt then Anguilla.
Oh, and we are late 20's, looking for fun and romance (it is our honeymoon afterall!). We've been to Le Vele in T&C and LOVED it! Also the Tara suites at the Bucuti and Aruba, also loved it. We want new rooms with great views as far as our hotel. And very small. Thanks in advance!!

I really think you will want to be in Anguilla a majority of the time. The beaches are terrific! To die for. Although there isn't a ton of nightlife, there are great restaurants. My husband and I make that our nightlife. Go early and have a few drinks in the bar. Eat a great meal and then have a few more drinks either at the restaurant bar or at our hotel bar. You could always hit the Casinos on St. Maartin. The sand is not nearly as white there as it is on Anguilla.

Thanks! We're not big on the partying, not drinkers so it sounds like we would like Anguilla a lot. Maybe we'll do 2 or 3 days in St.Martin and 7-8 days in Anguilla. Is the Frangipani luxury?

We're getting married early next June and honeymooning on St. Martin/Anguilla as well We decided to do 4 nights on Anguilla at Cap Juluca and 2 on St. Martin at Le Petit. We're having a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, so we wanted to go to Anguilla first just to completely relax from the stress of being with everyone we know for a week We had a hard time deciding between CJ and Cuisinart, which are supposed to be the two nicest properties on Anguilla, but time after time, people said CJ was better for honeymooners. We're very happy with our decision and so excited! We originally were going to spend three nights on St. Martin, but then decided 2 would be enough just to give us a feel for the island and tell us whether we'd like to come back and spend more time in the future.
