Help?! Need Suggestions for 10 yr. anniversary trip :-)

Hi ,
My husband and I are going to take a 10 yr. anniversary trip next year around Feb.-Mar. and are not sure where to go. We didn't really get a honeymoon, so we want this one to be special...No kids...just us. We NEVER do this! We are looking for somewhere with beautiful beaches where we can snorkel, and do other things, but also relax and maybe get a massage. I was thinking of Hawaii, or somewhere in the Carribean. Please help

Caneelbay.com

Jade mountain.com

Hapuna Prince Big Island Hawaii

Good packages on price line.com

My top 3 based on budget the Prince was cheapest for me

Packages from 1k or so on price line including air car

Congrats!

We have been to many Caribbean islands. We have had the most WONDERFUL times at Palm Island in the Grenadines. It's a little bit harder to get there. No kids at that time of year, and it's more on the quiet and peaceful side with some great beaches. They also have a spa for that massage.

Hawaii is also a great choice for an anniversary. We got married there. Shop for airfare if you go. It too is a wonderful place.

Hi Jaceesmom- I think you might give an idea of what your budget for the week is and whether or not it includes airfare from your home to get some good ideas. You have gotten some great ones so far but personally, there are some I could not afford and I travel quite a bit. The first thing to decide is what you are willing to spend- then when you want to go (exactly by month in case it matters) then you can go from there. Just my opinion. We got married on St. John so I am always a little partial to it. Happy anniversary in advance - I hope you find the perfect spot.

Where are you traveling from? I have to agree, what is your budget? Do you like high end luxury or laid back casual?

After 20+ islands plus Hawaii, I'll try and help.
we tend to travel to the Caribbean in March.

I have to agree. We have traveled many of the Caribbean Islands and Mexico and the recommendations so far do not meet a friendly budget criteria. We also been to Maui and Oahu and we were not impressed with Hawaii as were are the Caribbean.

February/March are considered "high" season and Spring Break, so you will pay considerally more than some other months. Also, many destinations will be crowded.

We tend to go to Mexico yearly as it less expensive than most destinations and we love all inclusive hotels.

Try checking out the "destination" section and read up on the Islands and see what interests you. We can better help answer specific questions about a certain destination than trying to figure out what meets your criteria as most recomendations will be whoever is posting favorite place. Budget and where you will be flying from helps also.
