Best place to go in Caribbean mid-April early May?
My wife and I are planning a vacation during mid april to early May. We are interested in all inclusive, warm, beach. Either adults only or few kids. We are looking to stay 7 nights for around $2,500 somewhere. Any suggestions??

Well, in my opinion, May is the best time to travel to the Caribbean: the weather is usually reliable, low season prices have kicked in, but families aren't traveling with their kids because they're still in school.
Does your budget include airfare? if so, where are you flying from?
You're pretty much guaranteed warm weather and a beach just about everywhere that time of year, so tell us instead what your priorities are. Are you interested in water sports? Snorkeling in particular? Do you want to stay resort-bound or do you want to get out and explore? Do you want a lush atmosphere redolent with palm trees and lush scents on the breeze? Lush, mountainous islands generally have darker sand beaches and darker-looking water(St. Lucia and Nevis are prime examples). It's the arid, flat islands that have white sand beaches that go on for days with myriad shades of blue reflecting the light back to you (Anguilla, Turks & Caicos, and Aruba are prime examples). There are places in between, like the US & British Virgin Islands, Jamaica, and Grenada.
Are you foodies who want a wide variety of dining options and preferably no buffets? Or are you not that particular about food and just want to make sure you've got plenty of it, when you want it? Do you want night life? Local historical & cultural sites? Romantic seclusion? How far and how long are you willing to travel?
THink about the 3-4 things most important for you and we can better give you an idea of where to go.

Our budget does not include airfare. we have airline miles that will get us anywhere for free! The budget is going directly to the resort.
Here are some things that we are looking for...
-massage and spa available
-personal jacuzzi on the balcony of the room
-all inclusive
-white sand beach
-buffets are fine, but also want sit down dinners at restaurants on the resort
Any ideas of places?
We will be flying out of either San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX.

Let us know what is your decision. Also what airlines are you using? I would love to find out what airlines have ff tickets available for April/May to any place you want to go. I am having such a hard time to find ff tickets to Alaska for September with Continnental
