Bermuda - Your all-time favorite Restaurant

Okay, less than two weeks to go before we're off for our 25th wedding anniversary trip to Bermuda and I need your help!

I would like the trip to be extremely special, so tell me about YOUR favorite place to dine as well as the one place you would avoid. Thanks so very much

At Aerial Sands you used to be able to dine practically on the beach. Great food!

Swizzle Inn is a must while in Bermuda - just to say you have been there and also to pass out when they bring you a large pitcher of Rum Swizzles and you insist you didn't order the half-pitcher!!!!

Our favorite fancy restaurant is the Watelot and our favorite casual is the Swizzle Inn. Be forewarned, don't drive your scooter home from the Swizzle Inn--those rum swizzles are potent!

For a special evening I have a few choices, Aqua at Ariel Sands, Waterloo
House in Hamilton--also The Fourways Inn, I love the piano player, the setting is a bit formal, but a classic
Bermuda spot.
The Swizzle Inn is a well known tavern-bar-dining, reminds me of a college bar. Its a place to visit a least once,
and yes this is where they invented the rum swizzle!
Tom Moores is another fine spot, I read it was recently done over.
Check out the menus, etc. and see which one appeals to you!

Gwenn86, we're staying at the Fairmont Hamilton. Is the dress really smart casual at Harleys? Did you by any chance have high tea there? Congrats on your 18th!

Any other recommendations? Thanks

The Cedar Room - gourmet dining with sunset views at Pompano Beach Resort. Food is great and the staff is super friendly - not stuffy and it has the prettiest oceanfront. That's our favourite place to stay and we never dine anywhere else at night. We do have other restaurants which we love, but just for lunch - we always go to Portofino's in Hamilton. Congrats!

Seetheworld--I wore a linen skirt and sweater to dinner. My husband wore nice khakis and polo shirt. We were dressed just fine. I did not have high tea there. We stayed across the street at the Rosedon. I would recommend that you go to Friday night happy hour. It looked like a lot of fun. We had our kids with us (except for Harley's) so we ate at Portofino's and Pickled Onion,etc... but I would definitely try The Fourways Inn next time. It also looks very romantic. You'll have a great time!
