I am thinking about going to Sandals Royal Bahamian in January. Has anyone been there? What is the beach like, and the weather in January? What age group of people would probably be there?

My husband and I are planning on going there the first week in November. Sandals is expanding this resort and the construction (I'm told by Sandals) should be complete by October. You can get more information from visiting their web site. I think it is sandals.com. Good luck!

The resort is located on a VERY nice stretch of beach. Unfortunately, it gets quite chilly in January in the Bahamas..you will not encounter the tropical temperatures you may have been expecting. <BR>But, the resort is definitely a nice experience.

My husband (43 yrs) and I (39 yrs) are thinking of going to Bahamas in January 99 and also thought of staying at Sandals Royal. We are ova/lacto vegetarians - do they have a good memu for vegetarians? What things are there for sight-seeing? How is the shopping and prices compared to Canada?
