How far is the airport from regent palms and how early do you REALLY need to get to the airport for a flight home to the US?

It's about a 15 minute ride. The airport is really small and if you are leaving on a Saturday i would get there the two hours early. It's very busy. If you have an afternoon flight check in early if you have a rental car, go have lunch drop off your car and get to the airport about 45 minutes before your flight. You will still have to stand in the security x ray line.

we will be coming home on a wednesday and not renting a car. if we get to the aiport about an hour early or hour and 15 should that do it?

They board the plane 20 minutes before take off so i would lean towards 1 hr 15 mins. You should be fine.

What month are you going?

That makes a huge difference, even for a Wed.

They now close the gates 1 hour before.
