Romantic & Other Restaurant Recommendations, please - Quebec City
During our 2 day visit to Quebec City in June, we'd like to have some interesting dining experiences. <BR> <BR>We'd like to go for at least one romantic, upscale dinner - excellent service, food and great atmosphere. <BR> <BR>Also like to try a bistro or two for lunch. We'll be staying in the old city. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also - any good breakfast spots - croissants,etc?

Sandy- just got back from Q city. For romantic dinners I love both La Maison Serge Bruyere and Initial. The service and food are fabulous. For bistros(i.e., mussels and fries), try Cafe Moss and The Crazy Pig. The wild boar crepes at Le Petit Coin de Breton are a treat. Make sure to have a cocktail in the bar in Le Chateau Frontenac!

KB, <BR> <BR>We're headed to Quebec City in August. Have printed out your restaurant and bistro suggestions. <BR>Have you any knowledge of the following: <BR>Hotel Dominion 1912 <BR>Auberge Saint-Pierre <BR>I have reservations at both and am leaning towards Dominion. <BR>However, would appreciate first hand advice.
