Niagara Bicycle/WineryTours: Information?
Hello,
Has anybody here done one of the popular Niagara bicycle/winery tours?
Can you rent bikes?
How about a contact number or website of you have one?
Thanks!

OB, one of my favorite posters... I have taken the bicycle tour that you are inquiring about...
we used Niagara Wine Tours International and chose a 15km tour... there are several pros and cons:
CON...Distance... It can be a tough day... 15km is farther than you think
CON or PRO...Weather... too hot, too wet, too whatever...or perfect
CON...Equipment... those thong seats remind you you how old you are...
CON...Choice of wineries... the guides select the wineries, you are likely to miss the best wineries over those who pay the operator...
CON or PRO...Fellow riders... if you get an aggressive young group, they have no patience for slower riders OR a good group of new wine friends
PRO... its beautiful cycling through the vineyards..
PRO... Our tour included a box lunch served with wine on an old table right in the vineyard... amazing experience
PRO... Operator sends a van to collect any purchases and bring them back to starting place
PRO... Your group gets a private tasting and/or tour at one of the wineries...
Zoom Leisure also runs tours and rents bikes...
If I were to do it again, I would use the winery trail map and take my own group on a self tour after renting bikes for the day... with a stop for lunch and to the wineries we prefer...
That said also have a look at googling "Good Morning Cycle Tour Niagara on the Lake" you may find that interesting...
good luck
