lodgings in Jasper and Canmore

My husband and I are visiting Alberta this summer. I booked a room in the Park Place Inn in Jasper and also a room in the Falcon Crest Lodge in Canmore. Have you stayed at either of these places? If so, what did you think of them?

I haven't stayed at the Park Place Inn but live in the area and have been in the rooms. The rooms are very nice and get good reviews. It is right 'downtown' and is the second story above some stores. The views from the south suites will have a foreground of roof tops with a background of the mountains. Plenty of dining choices within a block or two - I recommend Andy's Bistro.

We have stayed at the Falcon Crest Lodge in Canmore several times. It is our favorite place to stay in Canmore.
It is ranked #1 out of 23 hotels in Canmore in Trip Advisors popularity ratings. Almost all of the rooms are suites and they are decorated so well.
I'm sure you will be very happy with your choice.
It is an easy one mile walk to the heart of downtown Canmore and the views of the mountains are spectacular.
If possible, ask if you can have a room on the south side. That is where the best views are.
