8 days in western canada
We will be heading to Canada with 6 of us, 4 in their late 20s. Sometime spring -early fall. We are looking for outdoor, fly fishing and possibly ending in Vancouver. Not sure where to fly into or where to go or how to begin. What date would be best too. Look forward to hearing from you.

Canada is really big (apologies to The Arrogant Worms). Are you thinking of covering the whole country, or concentrating on just the western area? How much time do you have?
Our great preference is September, but fishermen here here will give you specific advice on that piece. May/June can be quite rainy/icky in B.C. In the Rockies (Banff area), you need to consider that snow may not melt off until late June.
Let us know a bit more of your plans for some targeted advice.

sludick: Actually, "western Canada" generally refers to BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
jselden: I'm afraid you're question is a little vague to give any good answers. Could you provide some more details?
