The perfect exotic and romantic location for my girlfriend's 21st?
Hi there! I am looking to book an exciting holiday away for a week or so for my longtime girlfriend's 21st. I was looking at places like Antarctica (a cruise there - exciting but also romantic) or Madagascar! Unfortunetly these two are out of my budget ($1000-$3000). Someone suggested New Caledonia - relaxing but also exciting wildlife and landscape wise. But do you guys have any suggestions? We live in Australia and would ideally go mid year. Also hopefully not TOO many other tourists where we'll be.. I know this is a specific request just looking for somewhere perfect for her! If anyone knows its you guys. Thanks if you can help!

You can easily do Singapore with that budget if you are happy to fly budget. My boyfriend and I went last September with Scoot. Only cost us around $450 return each. It was on sale. I think Scoot have a sale again at the moment. We were only there for 5 nights. 3 nights in Chinatown in a budget (but really nice) hotel, and then splurged for the last 2 nights. Singapore is great for a quick holiday, its not a long flight and it is so diverse.
Not sure where abouts in Aus you are from. But if you want to stay domestic, what about Barossa Valley in SA or the Mornington Peninsula in VIC. We recently drove down towards the Mornington Peninsula and stopped off at all the wineries and farms for food tasting. Very romantic. For that matter, the Hunter Valley in NSW would be similar. Though it depends when you want to go. Its underwater at the moment.
