Perth Sydney or Melbourne

I really need some help desperately on deciding where to study abroad. I was kinda set on going to Edith Cowan in Perth and then after the semester traveling down the east coast for a couple of weeks. Every one that I've talked to loved studying in Perth. But now a lot of people are telling me to go to sydney. The only problem with that is that I would be studying at the University of Western Sydney and is at least 30 minutes away from Sydney. I would really like some help on deciding. Anyone that's gone to the universities or hear about them would be a great help. I am not as concerned with the actual prestige of the university as the location and opportunities to see and do things. Would I still be able to do a lot of things living so far away from sydney or should I go to perth and then see sydney on my trip afterwards.

There has been said such a lot about this topic that I can see that the only person who can decide is YOU. You have had all the input about these places that I doubt there is anything more that we can offer you.
Take the bulls by the horns - pick a place and enjoy it.

I really have not got much information from you guys at all. All you have told me is to get a college catalog to see which university is the best. I don't really care about the university as much as the place I study. I haven't had any responses about peoples experiences or opinions about the places. Or any suggestions about if it would be better to study in perth then travel after school is done to see the rest of australia or study in sydney and be far away from the city but closer to more things. That's all I really wanted to know.

In a previous post, and I cannot remember whether it was yours or not, there were a lot of people who gave their opinion. It is very difficult for people to give you a objective opinion that would not be biased in favour of the University that they went to or the city they studied in because that is all they know.
How can we tell if you would prefer to go to Perth and then travel down the east coast of Australia. We can only tell you what we think we would do in your circumstances and that has been done in previous posts.

Andrea, I lived in Perth some years ago and now live in Sydney. I can't remember, in what suburb is Edith Cowan Uni and which Uni of Western Sydney campus are you looking at?
