The snorkeling in the water right in front of the resort is not that great, but they send a boat out to Sunflower reef every morning, which is only 10 min away. The snorkeling there is very beautiful.

And I forgot to mention that they have hammocks all over the beach. If you're looking for relaxation, this is the place. They're one of the few islands that has a fresh water spring (most have to bring water in via barge). So, they have a large, clean swimming pool, which is quite nice. I spent many afternoons curled up in those wonderful hammocks with a book!

We stayed at Malolo in August 2001 for a week and loved every minute. The bures were clean and nice. Make sure you ask for one right on the beach. The staff was terrific, too. Snorkeling not good right in front, but take the boat over to the reef. We went diving and it was very good.<BR>We headed for Kadavu the next week and it was more beautiful, remote, and snorkeling and diving was amazing.
