All you Bangkok lovers out there might want to pick up a copy of the current National Geographic Traveler. There's an article "Saving Old Bangkok" by Daisann McLane on some enticing new guesthouses in renovated buildings. Not for those who want the Mandarin or the Peninsula, of course.
