more problems for Tiger Temple - Abbot mauled
the temple abbot was "mauled" by one of the tigers the temple is meant to be looking after on behalf of the state.
he has been hospitalised.
this has happened after the temple has just done a deal with the DNP to keep the animals instead of them all being confiscated.
apparently the temple is no longer allowed to charge for admission to the temple and now has to reliy of donations only.
so check your tour booking for any charges!
be sure to take a first aid kit; the temple insists on a damage waiver being signed.
