Dear Priya,<BR><BR>Check my Message "I Had the most fabulous time in India" in the Asia Forum India Section. What I did not say there was that we were two girls travelling and we never felt more safer anytime. This was all thanks to Sanjay our travel agent you can send him a message at [email protected] or [email protected]. He is based in Agra a thorough professional and very accommodating person. <BR><BR>We altered our program 4 times and he was so very patient. We tried bluffing them but later had to agree that they are giving very good value for money, at the end we converted everything to five star and four star hotels, they have very special rates very economical.<BR><BR>cheers!!

Thank so much for the information Siv. I really appreciate it! I'm pretty worried about working with a tour operator because I don't know who to trust. So far, I've been considering <BR>"new age tours and travels" and "compass tours."<BR><BR>The company you used sounds great! Can you tell me their name and if they have a website? I'm planning a similar itinerary through Rajastan (Jaipur, Udaipur, etc) for 10-14 days. Anyone know how much I should expect to pay (taking into consideration off-season summer rates)?

LOL ... Priya, your message string is gaining length. One thing I could tell you most definitely, whatever agent you use please ensure that your tour price includes Air Conditioned Cars. I have got news from India that the temperature is F 100+ in most of the places.<BR>May be you should postpone your trip by a couple of months.Yes I did buy a Rajasthan tour with them and as I said earlier had a fabulous time. If you want to take suggestions you have sanjay's e-mail address. I am not coming on your post any longer, reason is that though they have been a good agent but my time is my own and I really don't want to sell them to you. It should be your choice.
