My hubby and I are wanting to do either one or two nights on a junk at HaLong Bay. Which boat or tour is the best from Hanoi?

Handspan seem to have the best reputation. Their prices are a bit higher than some of the others but they seem to give consistently good service. There have been a lot of disgruntled customers who have used the budget operators.

Have a look at Halong Ginger.....best junk on Halong Bay. We were on it in May and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Enjoy!

The Halong Ginger is the one if money is no object. We too, a party of 4 been on it in May. An unforgetable experience. At night, they moored at this quite spot with no other boat around and dinner was a seafood grill (also meat too for those that don't like seafood)on the top deck under the moonlight. Her soon to be sister, the Jasmine, will soon make her debute. We hope to be on it on our next visit.
You will love Halong bay and you will love Vietanm, if you don't do a budget tour. Have a wonderful trip!
