Fodors--How is this pronounced?

I'm curious to know how "Fodors" is pronounced. Is the accent on the 1st or 2nd syllable?

For what it's worth I put the accent on the first syllable - but then I'm Australian, and Fodors is an American site, and some words we stress differently. When I try stressing the second syllable in "Fodors" it does sound a bit odd, though.

The first syllable: FO doors
in 'mercan English.

In Japanese, it might be like:
HO do ro su

From the Fodor's website: "Let's start with the pronunciation: it rhymes with "motor" and it's the surname of our founder Eugene Fodor, who pioneered the concept of the modern guidebook."

(Also rhymes with voters! )

Trouble is that it depends on how you pronounce "motor" - I say Mo-Tor (the "Tor" as in Torment, tornado) so now I should say Fo-Tor?

It wouldn't necessarily be good public relations for the company to explain it this way, but apparently they would want the name pronounced as you would pronounce "odor," though with an "F" on the front end.
