Fodors--How is this pronounced?

For what it's worth I put the accent on the first syllable - but then I'm Australian, and Fodors is an American site, and some words we stress differently. When I try stressing the second syllable in "Fodors" it does sound a bit odd, though.

From the Fodor's website: "Let's start with the pronunciation: it rhymes with "motor" and it's the surname of our founder Eugene Fodor, who pioneered the concept of the modern guidebook."

It wouldn't necessarily be good public relations for the company to explain it this way, but apparently they would want the name pronounced as you would pronounce "odor," though with an "F" on the front end.
