China in 12 Days
I will be going to China in late September and only have about 12 days. We will be in the Shanghai area for a few days , What are the other areas you recommend as "Don't miss" Sites to see?

There are a lot of must-see sights in China, given that you have only 12 days, you can spend about 2 dyas to see shanghai, and the rest to see forbidden city, hutong, and the great wall in Beijing; terra cotta warriors & horses, small & big Wild Goose Pagoda, and ancient city wall in Xian; reed flute cave, fubo hill, elephant trunk hill, and have a excursion on the Li River in Guilin, and visit the most beautiful county in China--Yangshuo. This is a best way to see China. Cities mentioned above are world renowned and you won't be disappointed!

@jobin well i was just kindly suggesting some interesting places to see in China cause i know they are worth seeing. If you think it is the best to visit the people of China then you don't have to go anywhere cos people are everywhere in this country.

Thank you! The Guilin/Yangshuo are is what I am most interested in. We will definitely go to The great wall. We will be visiting people too. Especially when we go to my cousin's Wedding Banquet outside Shanghai. What are the things you recommend seeing in the Fubo Hill & Elephant trunk hill areas?

Keep in mind 12 days is not a lot of time to see all the places Josie mentioned, taking into consideration the wedding takes a whole day, the Great Wall is to the north of Shanghai in Beijing, and Guilin/Yangshuo is to the south. Check the distance on a map first.
