Looking at the replies to this obvious sales pitch from a travel agent I now know why people keep on sending spam by email: there's always someone who'll reply to even the most outrageous come on.

If this is merely friendly help from a fellow traveller, how come it looks like a sales pitch, it has all the signs of spam (CAPITAL LETTERS AND EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!!!), and why didn't Rabin Acharya simply put the details here if the offer's so great and he has no commercial interest in it?

It is a 'hoax'. It's not 'serious stuff'. He shouldn't be putting it here where is does not belong. But since he has, even if it is a decent price, you should shop elsewhere so that he is discouraged from doing it again.

And how can you 'cruise' from Nepal to Lhasa when there's no waterway?

Duh.

I don't think that it is a sales pitch. Check Rabin's request from 1/10. And by saying "cruise from Nepal to Lhasa" the intent was to say LANDCRUISER and not a real cruise!!!

I also agree that if you can't put the details here, you shouldn't post it, the exception being trip diaries.
Everyone would love to hear about great deals, and without having to invite them to e-mail us.
Did anyone get Rabin's inFo? What was it all about?

I am sorry guys, i didnt post the price and details. Its not a marketing or anything. I am from Nepal. I got the deal from the travel agent in China that if I am able to gather at least 4 or 5 pax willing to get this 11 day tour excursion, they would give me FREE. And their price is THE cost price. For economic tour, with BB twin sharing accommodation and oneway flight is US$ 892.00, standard US$ 944.00, and deluxe US$ 1065.00. This is not hoax, by using capital letters i wanted to express my excitement. I didnt know that it would express the hoaxness.

This is getting out of control. Why can't other companies such as Pacific Delight post its itineraries here too? You fools out there, there are many such deals available in Nepal. Grab a guidebook (Lonely Planet) and you'll learn all about it.
