AsianHolidayDeals.com - is it a SCAM???

Hello everyone

I was wondering about a website - AsianHolidayDeals.com - that offers a deal on Bali hotels and in return you have to attend a presentation while in Bail.

Does anyone know anything about this company? Is it legitimate or a scam?

Any information would be helpful!

Thanks!
M

Know nothing of the company; I would guess it's a time share presentation.

Like justshoot, I expect it's a time share presentation. If you've never been to one, they are very high pressure and rarely take the amount of time advertised. How much of your vacation are you willing to give up in order to stay cheaply?

Also, while they describe the properties as being "luxury" I'd take that with a large dose of salt. Check on hotel booking sites and see if you can find any of these properties and what they cost.

If it sounds to good to be true it probably is!

I usually stay away from timeshare presentations but in one instance I did do it with the Accor Group, a respected French company that runs the Sofitel, Accor and Ibis hotels. It was a pretty good deal and the woman who did my presentation was very friendly and it wasn't that high pressure. The whole thing lasted less than one hour. And in return I got a 2 bedroom apartment in Nusa Dua for 3 nghts at the weekend I specified, plus a $100 food credit. Total cost: $200. I normally wouldn't stay in Nusa Dua but had to be there for a special event. If you want to do a timeshare thing to get a cheap hotel I do recommend them as they can't be a scam (a huge hotel group). And as a bonus, I'm really enjoying my timeshare! (just kidding).
