Most travel agent in Hong Kong get tickets from consolidators, so if you're there, you can just walk in to any agent.
If you try to get it from overseas, here's one popular agent with English webpage: www.tiglion.com. I did a quick search for HKG-JNB. Roundtrip on Ethiopian starts at HK$5,580, and Cathay $6,680. About half the price I can find on large US-based internet sites.

I can only add that your choices are limited to : SA and Cathay non stop, Malaysia or Singapore airlines via KUL or SIN respectively, Kenya Airways vuia NBO ( stops on the way in BKK ) or Ethiopian via ADD ( also stops BKK on the way ), or via Dubai which is either non-stop to Dubai or via BKK and then non-stop Dubai to Jo'burg.
