Hi all <BR> <BR>Does anyone know if I can buy a one day pass to the United lounge at LAX, during my 7 hour layover there? If so, is it worth it? <BR> <BR>Also, should I be worried (as a big, 6 foot 5 man) about the room in coach? How is United's lomg haul service? <BR> <BR>Thanks in advance. <BR> <BR>Gratn.

Don't know about the one day pass, but if you are flying internationally on United in coach, look out. We did the same the last two years and we will never do it again on United. We aren't very big, but and not very tall, they have the smallest coach seats that I have ever seen for internaional travel. I would seriously look into paying for or useing air miles to upgrade to business class. <BR>Toto

Yes, it costs $50 per person and if you have a 7 hour layover, its worth it. Just consider it part of your trip expense.
