Silverjet Experience?

Has anyone flown Silverjet from EWR to London Luton? If so, how was the experience? Is it a hassle to get from Luton to LHR or LGW for a connecting flight several hours later on the same day? Think they'll still be in business in November or are they going the MaxJet route?

My understanding is that Silverjet got crucial funding from equity investors several months ago. Though hard to predict how solid their financing/business model is.

From Luton, you can take National Express coach services. There's an hourly service though I would leave at least 4hrs inbetween for transfer to LHR. Forget about connecting between Luton to LGW.

"Forget about connecting between Luton to LGW."

Why? It's a highly reliable and painless 75 minute, every 15 minute, railway journey.

Few airport-to-airport connections anywhere are as frequent or reliable. In fact, outside the London area, I can't think of a single example of two airports anywhere else on earth so well linked.

So can I have an example then?

Tried getting to Newark from Kennedy lately, have we? Someone's got round to providing decent public transport from Kennedy to La Guardia ? Theres's suddenly a monorail from Dulles to Roy Rogers, or whatever you call National these days?

Haneda to Narita?

Or from CDG to Orly during the rush hour? Ciampino from Fiumicino? Linate from Malpensa? No, here's a good one: Frankfurt from Hahn.

since you asked here are couple of examples to start with:

LGA-JFK
New York Airport Service Express Bus
$13 Every 30 minutes
6:30 AM to 8:00 PM 45 minutes

MDW-ORD
Take CTA ORANGE LINE TRAIN (ORANGE LINE - CLOCKWISE)
Depart
at 02:53 PM:
MIDWAY CTA
Arrive
at 03:23 PM:
CLARK/LAKE CTA (BLU/BRN/GRN/ORN/PRP/PNK)
Transfer
Take CTA BLUE LINE TRAIN (BLUE LINE - NORTHBOUND)
Depart
at 03:27 PM:
CLARK/LAKE CTA (BLU/BRN/GRN/ORN/PRP/PNK)
Arrive
at 04:14 PM:
O'HARE CTA
Regular Cash Fare:
Cash:
$ 2.00

and here is another one of your examples:
Haneda Airport Narita Airport
One Way (Half fare for children) ¥3,000−
Duration 75min

I could probably come up with half dozen more examples.......(but what's the point?)
