Does anyone know how the AA Club in Heathrow's Terminal 3 compares to the BA Club in Heathrow's Terminal 5 or the AA Club at DFW?

From having been to all of them, I would rank BA first, LHR AA second, and Dallas third.
In Europe, usually aclohol and food are free. Not the case in the U.S.
However, AA at Heathrow has regressed and now charges for food, and probably drinks.
Well there are four ACs at DFW so not sure how to compare them, and of course there are also BA multiple lounges in T5 and T5B, so same question. I usually use the ACs in Terminals C and D at DFW, and the south lounges at LHR T5A
The LHR AC was completely remodeled a year or so ago, and it's much, much nicer than it used to be. That said, however, IMO it's still quite inferior to the T5 BA lounges, and also to the BA Galleries lounges (business and first) at Terminal 3. The DFW lounges are usually so full of cellphone-yammering people that I find them a bit unpleasant, but in terms of size and amenities I'd still probably give them the nod over the AA lounge at Heathrow.
The newish AA lounge is indeed very nice, with hot food on offer as well as all the snack things. The day we were there we could have soup, pasta, and something else I can't remember. There were breads, cheeses, cold meats, fruit, and more.
I'm really sorry to hear that the AA lounge is now charging for food and drink. That's normal in the U.S. but odd for European facilities.
I was not aware that there was a charge for food at the LHR AC or FL; there certainly wasn't when I last passed through. Perhaps Rastaguytoday could mention when it was that he was charged for food?
