Where did Experience Egypt go?

I've been working with Experience Egypt on an itinerary for a few weeks now. I go away for a week and come back to find their website is down and my e-mails keep bouncing back? Any ideas?

I tried their website and got the same thing. I would go to touregypt.net. This is the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism website. Send them an email explaining what is happening. Experience Egypt is one of their licensed tour operators. Please let us know what you find out. I travelled with them in March and have sung their praises on this board and it sounds like I need to stop doing so.
Thanks, Lori

Did you make any progress with this?

I have been away from this section of the board for a few days and just caught this thread. I am due to go with EE in just over 2 weeks' time - I have details of the itinerary, hotels, cost and everything.

Needless to say I'm a bit anxious reading this but I am at work at the moment and all my details are at home so I will try and check this out later. I don't want to have to start all over again with 2 weeks to go (

Update: after trying their website and sending e-mails to my usual contact at Experience Egypt with no success I tried to contact them by phone today.

I got through and was reassured that everything is okay with my trip and Experience Egypt. They said the site was down (I don't know why).

If you still want to contact them, I was advised you can get through on the following e-mail address:

[email protected]

I hope this works for you and you sort out your trip. I have phone numbers too if you want me to pass these onto you too.

You're awesome, I've been nailing down an itinerary for a month with them and was rather concerned when my e-mail was returned as undeliverable. They have great deals and I've only heard good things. I'm looking foward to my x-mas vacation. Let us know how yours went. Thanks so much.

I have booked a trip with Experience Egypt for Oct too. I'm really concerned after finding out this thread. Please keep us posted in any news from Experience Egypt and let us know how yours go.

Thanks. I have already sent an email to EE through that email address. I got a reply from EE assuring me that my reservation is still there. But I wonder what's going on with EE, it might not be as simple as a website down. I'm not too sure how reliable they are now.

I know it's been a while but I just wanted to say that Experience Egypt is a fantastic tour company. They literally went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Example, they fought with the front desk at every hotel to ensure we had the best rooms available. We never asked for this either. It's just one of many this they did for us. Highly recommended.
