Warning from TATO- Taking of Photos of Military Training

From Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO)

Following the ongoing military trainings/mgambo in Arusha we have
constantly found ourselves at Military offices dealing with the issue of
Tourist from our members unlawfully taking photos of the training in
Arusha.

Today we had tourists from two companys arrested and
their cameras confiscated for taking photos unlawfully.
In this view, We humbly request all of you to inform all your clients and
public at large to refrain from taking photos in restricted areas
particularly on ongoing military/mgambo trainings.

Even the solders in Arusha town

We understand that it is sometimes tempting to tourists,but its
consequences are far reaching.

Be informed accordingly and inform your clients.
