I am not sure what you are asking. If you mean people/villages. Then yes we will be driving in Uganda and have partial days to learn and interact. If I missed your meaning then sorry.

One comment/thought on journey between Kibale and Bwindi, which is a nice, but relatively long, drive.

You likely will be driving near Queen Elizabeth NP, which is one of Uganda's best national parks (not as much wildlife as Kenya or Tanzania, but still worth visiting). You may want to consider a visit on the way, and Mweya Safari Lodge is a nice place to stay. Three days is a long time at Bwindi -- there's not much to do outside the one-hour gorilla treks.

We were going to stay 2 nights in at Mweya. Changed it in order to be at the Zambia camps for four nights instead of three. Maybe we'll reconsider. Bwindi is for three nights due to the flight time out to Entebbe. Will double check though.

I also didn't understand afterall's thread, but you pass through dozens of villages on your drives in Uganda. We stopped at several, and I still remember the roads lined with uniformed school kids, lots of farmers carrying huge loads of bananas, and herdsmen directing large groups of long-horned cattle. The villages make for nice stops, but unlike afterall, I don't think I'd want to spend the night.

I agree about Bwindi. . .it's a total waste to spend an extra night there.
I would also consider scrapping the Ngamba visit. I know others disagree, but it really didn't move me -- it's basically a big zoo that covers the whole island.
Anyway if you are going to kibale you will see the real thing.
I also think you should also make room for something non-primate related in Uganda.
QE park and murchison falls are both very nice.
If you want to see Lake VIc., check out the Ssese islands or Bugalo. ..also great time and amazing birds.

Once we finalize our air (not until September) we can fine tune the Gorilla Treks, and Bwindi. Ngamba will also be based on whether they are allowing the Chimp Forest Walk next year in the Summer/Fall. So your suggestions are very helpful as there will be changes based on the above variables.
