Safari Tour Companies: which one?
I am planning a 13 day safari trip to Uganda and Rwanda and have received quotes from the following 3 companies: Churchill, Magic Safaris and Great Lakes. Has anyone used them and if so, how was it? The routes are very similar as are the prices so it is difficult to know which one is better. One difference is that some of them have us stop at Ishasha and or Lake Bunyonyi. Should we include either or both?

Try Travelust. I used them three years ago and we had an amazing trip. They are a local company so the prices were cheaper but we stayed at the same places and did the same activities as the other companies.
Also, we decided at the end to hit Lake Bunyonyi and were not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful and a nice relaxing way to end our hectic trip.
I didn't go to Ishasha but did see tree climbing lions on one of our game drives.
Happy planning! Uganda is one of my favorite trips of all time.

I surely think that Churchill will be the answer. They have been in business for a long time and their trucks are amazing. They will have the best trip for you.If you ask Churchill to stop at Ishasha, they will do it for you. Both Ishasha and Lake Bunyonyi are beautiful places to go.

We had a safari trip to Uganda and Tanzania with Amazing Safaris (www.safaritouganda.com). We had to cancel for medical reasons but the rest of our group was able to go and had a good time. Our problem has been that we haven't received the refund for our trip and it was 1.5 yrs ago. Our travel insurance company is trying to get a response from them to and isn't having any luck either.
